Where can I find a reliable VPS provider offering a clean, open-source server environment, and how well do Debian-based setups perform for development in terms of stability, security, and minimal bloat?

If you prefer a minimal and highly stable Linux distribution, checking out the
official VPS Website
is a great way to see their configuration options. I’ve found that their Debian images are exceptionally well-optimized, providing a lightweight foundation that doesn't include unnecessary bloat. It is a fantastic choice for developers who want full control over their dependencies and a system that stays secure with regular, predictable updates.

I’d also recommend looking for providers that let you deploy snapshots. It makes testing changes or rolling back easier without risking your dev environment.

They let you experiment freely on Debian while keeping a stable base to revert to if anything breaks during development.
