Exclusive Copenhagen Recording
The Copenhagen disc showcases J Mascis in 1998, five years after the CBGB’s show and three years after Martin + Me. This performance captures his evolved acoustic approach, featuring reimagined versions of Dinosaur Jr. classics like “Little Fury Things” and “The Lung,” alongside solo material.
Notable tracks include a medley opening of “The Lung / Blowin’ It” and the brief but powerful “Alone” (1:00). The set concludes with his acoustic interpretation of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Every Mother’s Son,” demonstrating his continued exploration of diverse cover material.
