Recorded live at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on November 16th, 1994 during Dinosaur Jr’s “Without A Sound” tour. This Record Store Day exclusive release captures the band’s raw energy during one of their most celebrated touring periods.

This live recording showcases Dinosaur Jr at the peak of their mid-90s powers, featuring the classic trio lineup of J Mascis, Mike Johnson, and George Berz. The setlist draws heavily from their catalog up to that point, including fan favorites like “Feel The Pain” and “Little Fury Things.”

A rare glimpse into Dinosaur Jr’s live performance during the “Without A Sound” era, this recording preserves the band’s legendary volume and intensity that made them one of the most influential alternative rock acts of the 1990s.

Never officially released until now, and produced in association with the band, ‘Guess I’ll Crawl (Live In Santa Monica)’ is the latest in our ongoing extensive exploration of Dinosaur Jr’s Sire Records period. A must-hear glimpse of one of the treasures of the rich seam of American alternative rock and grunge artists who reinvigorated guitar orientated music in the late 1980s and 1990s.

This special pressing includes a printed color heavyweight paper inner sleeve and represents a rare official live release from this period of the band’s history.
