dimpfelmoserParticipantYeah, while we’re still on the subject of songs I have another point of interest.
Years ago, before I joined the news agency I used to cover weddings in order to make ends meet and it wasn’t as bad as you would think.
Anyway, there was this particular wedding where I filmed the whole action in the church. You know the routine, friends who tell you how great this couple is, while trying to be funny and always failing miserably, the priest, the rings, the whole lot. When the official part was over and it was time for the newlyweds, family and friend to file out onto the street, suddenly Wet Wet Wets "Love is all around" blasted through the church while the couple strode towards the exit. I bet it was the brides choice and I thought the marriage was doomed from the start.
And right there I suddenly knew which song I would have chosen for such a special occasion and in fact I liked the idea so much that I decided to mary in a church as well. You know, just to prove that it can be done properly. My song would be Fly me to the Moon by Julie London and my question is, what would you like to be the Theme song for your wedding, or in Allisons case, what was the themesong to your wedding?

SGParticipantI heard a few years ago on the radio that this guy`s friend got married and the wedding music was JAMC`s Psychocandy.Sounds good to me and it would piss off creepy relatives.
I would pick My Bloody Valentine`s Loveless, something from that or the whole album or Anita O`Day or Billie Holiday.
I like dimpf`s pick,Julie London`s cool,I remember when she was on the 70`s tv show Emergency.

AGAPParticipantHey D,
We did the big church wedding deal, to be honest if I had a chance to do it again I would probably go to the Elvis Chapel in Vegas My theme song there would of course be a string of cool Elvis tunes sung by some guy in a flashy suit
