HalfmanParticipantJeebs,
You can look for the 1993 release "Not For Kids Only" by David Grisman and some old dead guy named Jerry Garcia. This was one of if not his last release. All renditions of children’s folk tunes from the 1st half of the 20th century.
http://www.myrussiantreasures.com has some really neat russian folk tales for kids. Go the the About the Art section. They primarily sell russian imported art for a variety of prices. Also there is a guy out there named Stith Thompson or something like that who compiled Cinderella tales from all over the world.
Sorry don’t know any songs but maybe itsy bitsy spider and she’s be comin around the mountain, maybe yankee doodle dandy.October 16, 2001 at 2:47 am #66260

rosaParticipant"Rubber Duckie" by Ernie, off the Sesame Street Gold album I had as a child. ‘Rubber duckie, you’re the one / you make bathtime lots of fun’
Jebus, there is a great band from North Carolina called the Flat Duo Jets; they do a rockin’ version of "Froggie Went A-Courtin".
Also, if you’re indeed looking for music for the kiddies, I would suggest "Free to be You and Me" by Marlo Thomas; also, Ladysmith Black Mambazo did a beautiful children’s album a while back.
