Now that they took the Pac and Big Tens out of the Rose Bowl, why not send Illinois and Oregon to a bowl in Florida? Would that be the Orange Bowl?

Don’t know if Illinois can take em, but that is my team. Doesn’t hurt to have a Butkus on defense, either.

Don’t get ahead of yourself Halfman. I think Oregon would win but hey:

Florida could lose to Tennessee
Texas could lose to Colorado.

That would put Oregon in the Rose, my friend.

Well, I hate to say it, but I think UT takes CU in the championship game. They run a defense conducive to stopping that power running game, not to mention their LB’s can run like DB’s. CU could shock the world twice in two weeks….but I’ve got my doubts. I’d still like to see Oregon in the Rose though.
