AnthonyParticipantMy friend Jon used to ride this board when we were in high school over ten years ago.
I forgot the company, but it’s Dan Rogers board.

RobertParticipantCool! I got kind of confused at first, but then I realised the "extra eyes" were holes from the trucks. I hope he rode independent or tracker trucks.

AnthonyParticipantwe used to ride independent trucks religiously.
venture a long time ago, even a couple gullwing’s where in the mix.…been a long time since i’ve been on a board.

AatosParticipantCould this board be made by a brand called "War Effort"? I dont know if that brand exists anymore, but anyway.
Hehe, Indepent trucks are holy to many skateboarders from the beginning of 90’s and 80’s! But i wonder why they dont make kingpins a little bit stronger.. Thats the curse of Indys.. They broke after two weeks. And a new one costs 3-4€…

FrassatiParticipantActually if I remember correctly, I think Bird House made that deck. I remember the first time I saw Dinosaur Jr. was at lollapoluza 1993 in Charlston WV. The night I got back, there was a skateboard catalogue with that deck in it. I wanted it so bad, but I had no money.

AnthonyParticipantit was an ‘ever-slick’ deck.
It must have come out in 93, because that’s when Where You Been came out.
Same year as lolla.I was at that Charles Town WV show too in 93.
We were all there.January 13, 2005 at 1:46 pm #104760
AatosParticipantThese "ever-slick" decks are quite a funny invention from the nineteens..

AatosParticipantThere could be advertisements in this style: "now you can slide and grind your board as much as you want!!!"…

FrassatiParticipantHey all I found some more interesting facts about this deck. Apparently it is a Dan Rogers deck done by Birdhouse. I asked guys on a website called Skull and Bones and they thought it was a Dan Rogers Deck. I visited The Art of Skateboarding website, they have the largest catalogue of decks from every era. Under Dan Rogers I did not find the Hitchhiker deck as I like to call it. But I did find that he also had a deck with the cover from Dinosaur on it. If you want to check it out here is the link
I think the Hitchhiker deck is ultra rare and that’s why it’s not in the catologue. And by the way he does have a deck there by the War Effort company.

AatosParticipantHmm… Quite interesting that this guy has 2 decks with dino graphics. He must be a big fan of Dinosaur Jr. I know the name, have heard it before, but I can’t remember any tricks or anything else by him. Does anyone know if he has parts in any skatevideos or something? Dan Rogers.

AnthonyParticipanti have a video called "Destroying America" I think it’s from Birdhouse.
Dan Rogers has a part in it.tony hawk, willie santos, a bunch of old farts as well.
