Driving down the road this morning and trying to listen to my messages
and I hear one from friend in New York saying something about a film I am in, the
connection going in and out, the next message from another friend Peggy Anne letting me know
that footage of me is in a film of hers that is getting good reviews "The Legend of Buck Kelly", peg spent a lot of time shooting in New York City, in the 80’s. She told me to take a look at both films "I wanted to tell you something" and the trailer for the "Legend of Buck Kelly" I could view them on the internet.

:o :- :D Oh, my god, that is me in the opening shot standing with that huge necklace on in the film "I wanted to tell you something" I am freakin’ naked and hungover after a fight with a boyfriend, I ended up sleeping on the roof of my apartment. As I recall, Peg comes up to wake me up with a camera rolling, watch as I struggle to put on my pants because all of holes in my pants as well as in my head. OH, my this is not the film legend I would have hoped to leave for my daughters.

In the "legend of Buck Kelly" trailer I am dressed, thank God, that’s me walking home with my little yellow boom box I took to work, While Peg is saying "The film tracks my obsession with the musician Jeff Buckley" If you find this film is showing and have a chance to see it please go and support PA, she is a great artist. (ie. you live in a large ciy)
found under trailer and related works. Great sound track!!!!! http://www.peggyanneberton.com/

The key word here would be "was" cool, as in I was about 26 years old when that footage was shot. My children watched it with me yesterday and my 10 year old son said in his beautiful impersonal autistic way "well, Mom your butt is a lot bigger now but on the bright side so are your breasts which is a good thing" and then he walked away.

I now want to see the Legend of Buck Kelly film to see what other things I may have done.
I noticed on the tv interview footage features the shots of me on the roof, I was asked my permission to be included in the film, I had no idea that I was ever naked until I saw the piece and remembered the moment. I now remember she has footage of me playing basketball in the nude and swimming in a very cold lake in Canada the same way.

No, I did call Juan right away and told him, Ummm, I’m naked on the internet and have been for a few weeks and I just found out.
He watched it and liked it, watching me struggle to put on a pair of pants borders on stupid, nothing more. I still remember that hang-over :P.
I love the term "staggerama" in the legend of Buck Kelly trailer, that is how most of us in featured in these films spent the mid-80’s.

I don’t know the music of Jeff Buckley, I am so sorry. I believe he died in Mississippi or so it seems I was told that. I should make it a point to find out, but I have always believed that Peg was a bit of a genius when it came to film.
Oh, I love the song TB sheets, I remember that being covered up on the juke-box, I think the father of the owner of the bar had died from tb and that was why the song was listed as "do not Play" Peace, going to bed after working like 33 hours in three days.

Thanks, I liked my boombox too it was one of those rugged sports type of things, ;)

I had to edit and fix some grammer issues, I couldn’t sleep if I left them incorrect.

your close annastefka Jeff Buckley died in the mississippi river, but it was in st. louis. .. he got drunk and thought he could swim in the river and drownded accidently.. terrible accident.. but still a more unique death then the usuall overdose or carcrash.

Both Films look awesome, you putting on pants in the morning looked amazing, classic beauty, for some reason when I try to put on my torn jeans with a hangover, it loooks nothing like that, its more me getting angry and tearing bigger holes in them.

Thanks, Rich, but the fun thing to remember is that film is 20 years old so……I don’t still look like that, infact, my family was saying I could be J Mascis for Halloween, all I would have to do would be put on my glasses, as it seems to them that we look a like and have the same fashion thing going on (don’t give a damn) I don’t have any like unicorn and rainbow tee-shirts to match his wolf/moon thing but….the real fact is J is a little cuter, ;)

It doesn’t matter what we look like now :) The moment I saw that trailer I just though of the glory days, and pictured you coming off a hangover from a led zeppelin concert or something as nostalgic as that, Your friend is a really good director(something I’ll be venturing in soon, Look for my tv podcast to be coming out in january{finally a project I haven’t given up on in a day}. I just realized I write really weird which means I think really weird, there are not enough symbols in the preservation of words to aid me in my thoughts, I’d make them up but I’m on a computer so I can’t.

If I were going to do a awesome art film I couldn’t think of a better opening shot than the one your friend took, the nudity is scare even though accepted, which makes it soo much better for the mind, especially when the nudity of a young attractive female becomes secondary in the mind of a young male. Genius true Genius! My awesome director friend(who also studied under Stephen Hawkings in Cambridge, and is the lovely Axl Rose in my halloween pics agrees.

as for aging, I’m still young but time seems to hate me, I’m balding, so much to the point where I just shaved my head(I’d rather go out gracefully, the day I found myself trying to hide my first thin spot was it, I didn’t want to become a combover man in 10 years) I’m sure my massive consumption of beer and ciggerettes doesn’t help the again process

I think J should totally get his lawyers after napoleon dynamite for wearing the whole wolf thing, lol

yeah, I love being my age now and wouldn’t change it for the world. Life gets sweeter, less complicated, as you age. Well, at least it has for me. My 20’s were crazy, my 30’s were busy, my 40’s are going to be much more relaxed, even with a heavy job and toddler, it’s all a state of mind. Have a great weekend……………………..
