FlyingCloudParticipantyeah, I also thought it could be a site for kids, but …what’s the pedagogic aim?
also I have no idea if speaking Swedish helps to understand what’s going on here:

FlyingCloudParticipanthehe, great insight, thanks dB
for sure I had the adult view on it like the article describes:
Quote:"for grown-ups exposed to it, this new PBS kids show might seem beautiful in the same hypnotic way as a druggy midnight screening of "2001: A Space Odyssey."for kids it might make more sense. I do know the teletubbies but never heard of that boobah project. still not sure if it could be of any advantage to expose pre-kindergarden kids to tv shows like that.
…maybe the Dancing Dino could also animate kids to exercise? or is this site really useless?

AGAPParticipantThat teletubbies show drove me insane in under 30 seconds
Don’t see the advantage of exposing young kids to tons of tv of any kind thru the first couple years of life. There is some interesting preliminary research out there on the effects of tv watching on the neural development of kids, how it may interrupt the process with too much stimuli, possibly leading to problems with attention/impulse control. Needs to be researched more before any firm conclusions can be drawn obviously, not to mention sorting out the parental/guardian issues, but could prove interesting… link

I have a thing for dancing dinosaurs but that music…

it rates the contents of a website for the good or evil words used, based on "infallible methods".
I tried with .http://www.freakscene.net/ …it found that this site is 24% evil and 76% good. …but I’m not wiser for a cent after reading the explanations

shwangParticipantthat Ramones name generator is stupid…they forgot one crucial element of the Ramones name….it has to end in "E" or "AY" sound.
