RichParticipantThe Closest thing that ive ever done to the The greatly Told Thompson Stories, was actually done because of the Good Doctor, I flew into Las Vegas, got a shit load of beer, weed, coke, a couple bottles of Jimmy Bean. We went driving down to Phoenix on the great Peyote Search, We didnt find any, and got so fucked we pulled over in the middle of the desert and let the toxins eventualyl make there way out of our body
For those of you who don’t know who the Good Doctor is. Dr. Hunter S. Thompson is a author who contributed to Rolling Stone, Sports Illustrated as well as many other magazines, and Wrote Books such as Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, The Rum Diarys, Kingdom Of Fear. If you Dont know him you should check him out

RichParticipantI would hope so, but Hunter S Thompson has said, The book is pretty much true to what he and Oscar did on there trip to Vegas

RichParticipantlol, of course but have you ever seen Hunter S Thompson in action, he’s a whirling dirvish of a man, and his lawyer Oscar was even worse
May 23, 2004 at 10:45 pm #102063
malcomParticipantActually I’ve heard he has trouble putting ideas together. A friend of my dad’s saw him speak and reportedly he was brilliant but had trouble putting ideas together. Kind of an intellectual Ozzy Osbourne

RichParticipantI think that mostly has to deal with his drug use, when he was younger he was exbuierant and witty

likeaghostParticipantHunter S. Thompson is a legend, if not for what he did, then just merely how he did it. Coherent or not he lived the life, or rather lives the life. It is his. Crazy? Drug Fueled? does it matter? Being self and pushing limits is purpose. I think HST is HST and has been kicking ass at it for years.

malcomParticipantQuote:VOte Kerry, even though he’s a peice of shit too, god damn it whats wrong with this countryThere are other options you know. And don’t say there isn’t a point in that, if third parties get enough support they can at least show the first parties that something is wrong.
