Cloud9ParticipantA Review of Waistin’
J MASCIS, is back with a new single. "Waistin", the introverted anthem from the highly acclaimed album "More Light", is
finally available as a CD-Single and alimited edition collectors 7". Although the song is piano-driven, it’s classic mid-tempo Mascis and his ivory tinkling gives the track a little delicacy not heard in some of his other work. The b-side is a cranked-up but heartfelt version of the John Denver classic, "Leaving On A Jetplane" which will probably have the late Mr. Denver rolling in his grave but will certainly have you air-guitaring all over your bed room. Get it now ’cause supplies are limited!!!
The CD-Single version also includes the unreleased track "See It As Always".From CitySlang.com

</STRONG><HR></BLOCKQUOTE>You know, I was blown away by those b-sides. After hearing those I really have no idea what to expect from J anymore(which is very cool). Those tracks are so great! I think that in losing the Dinosaur label he felt more freedom to explore these new directions he is taking his music. I agree, that would be cool!
