Talking to people here is`nt hard,sometimes people don`t reply to posts,not that they`re trying to be rude,sometimes you just can`t think of something to say.
I thought you were`nt posting alot because you were shy,did`nt think you felt that you`re not being accepted here.We`ll accept you and anyone else who wants to be a regular around here,as Allison said it`s always cool to talk to new people on the site.
So keep posting here and don`t feel that no one will respond,someone will,as Tony said we can chat through pm`s.I was going to send you a pm about Hum since you mentioned you like them,not enough Hum fans here.Since the site is being worked on the message that tells you that there`s a private message there is`nt working,just click on private messages on the left under bulletin board,that will take you to your profile,scroll down,the pm`s are there,I`ll send you one today.

Hey Siphonora,

Not everyone gets into the bb deal, couple things to remember about this site and board though…

* we got to preview More Light six months before its release

* one of the few places on the web to get such comprehensive new info on J…ie directly from the man himself

* the show reviews that are provided by fans, not only show reviews but pics and other cool info not available for Dino fans easily thru their local papers

* the ftp sites available with tons of Mascis songs and other cool bands to choose from are free for the taking…very cool feature

* the collection of reviews, articles and pics available on this site are incredible, pretty hard to beat that for any Dino/J fan

* the video boards are incredible, can’t find that kind of collection of Dino/J stuff anywhere else but here

So hopefully if you just don’t feel like participating in the bb you will still visit to check out what is happening with J cause this is the place to find out that kinda info first.

Also, I post quite frequently on another BB for another of my favorite bands. Its a smaller board, but it seems to have a much faster pace–there’s so many new posts/topics every day….

Glad you decided to stick around. I know what you mean about different message boards, one of my fav artists Bob Mould(husker du, sugar, solo) has a cool site but sometimes days go by with no posts [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] But I still check it out cause the info that is posted is usually pretty cool. A Flaming Lips site I go to hasn’t had any new info since August…yikes. A Chicago BEARS board I go to is wickedly busy during football season but in between it can be kinda dry, so heres hoping you continue to drop in every now and then. Like I said earlier in this thread best place to get up to date info on J Mascis [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

There are a lot of reviews, interviews etc to sort thru here but if you have the time there are some very cool things out there. Hope you have checked under the links category under band info, some cool show links there. Great show from London last year, over an hour long acoustic show b4 More Light came out…quite the show!!!
