The last four days I’ve enjoyed myself a lot by traveling through Belgium, Luxemburg an Germany. Beautiful little villages, nature, peace and low gasprices
    (Holland € 1.30, :x , Belgium € 1.11 an Luxemburg € 0.93  )
Luxembourgh town was also vey nice and impressive with old castles and things. On my way big I almost had a big car accident, a stupid vandriver did’nt use his mirrors and changeds way while speeding 140 km/h. Just because "I am an exelent driver" (quote from Tom Hanks in Rainman) I managed to avoid that loser and got safe home 8)

That sounds like a great trip Hansione! Any chance you got some pics to show us? Old castles and things are allways cool :) And I’m glad to hear that you avoided a car crash!
Also, did you come across any good beer or wine on your trip?

As soon as my girlfriend is able to get the pics from camera -> PC I will put some shots on the FS galery. Wine was good, a lot portuguese people are living in Luxembourgh so while eating there tapas, the Dao tasted very good and not the € 3.00 I’ve payed lately in Amsterdam but only 1.50.
Beer was good too, I had several Diekirch ‘s on draught. Good lager! And some other trapist kinda beer that tasted so good that I forgot the name :D

Without getting angry :D :D :D (see topic "being drunk")

…since today’s Monaco GP that manoeuvre is called ‘doing a Michael Schumacher’….. :P

Good to hear that nothing happened, and that you had a great time! I remember froim my biking trips through Luxemburg that every bigger town had it’s local brewery, all producing their local excellent lager, I think the Diekirch brewery is the biggest in Luxemburg…….. 8)

hey hansione, sounds like a nice trip, indeed :D
I’ve been in Luxembourg some years ago, and I found it looked a bit like a fairy tale country. I’d also like to see those pics!

good that your driving skills saved you from the dangerous behaviour of the other driver  :!:

Luxembourg city is really nice, as you said lots of old buildings to see. Otherwise is such a small country that you can visit it quite quickly :p

I love Belgium too, even it’s been a long time since I haven’t been there, fortunately it’s possible to find most of the best Belgian beers in bars here otherwise I’d need to go there every two months at least !!

Last time I went to Holland was 7 years ago with 3 friends…..stayed in Amsterdam 4 days, of which I don’t recall many things, wonder why, must be something in the air there
Fortunately I visited the rest of Holland 2 years before so I have other images of that country in my mind, and it’s a nice country, really enjoyed it !!

There sure is something in the air in certain "coffeeshops". 8) BTW there is a famous Freakscener who will certain share your opinion about Belgian beers in switserland :P
