The Wagon B-Sides

Hey everybody,

I just wondered if someone could help me out on a bit of trivia.

I picked up a copy of the Wagon single a couple of weeks ago.

One of the B-sides is called quicksand, it’s listed on the sleeve as being by David Bowie, adapted by J. There’s also a note saying something like in honour of the car totalled when a bowie demo was playing.

Does anyone know the story behind this…?

it is originally a Bowie song and J slightly altered the lyrics.
Not positive (some other members could probably give you the whole story, there’s probably even a link to it around here somewhere) but I am pretty sure it’s about a car that broke down while touring hence…"and I ain’t got the wagon anymore…no I ain’t got the wagon anymore…" <img>
