rambleonParticipantoh, forgot to say – have good trips you 2 …
hey hansione, speaking of the sun, did you know that whereas in places like london + amsterdam you are advised to avoid direct sun between 10 + 2 … in the med it’s 11 + 3 … just thought i’d mention that motherly sneak tip

Bucky RamoneParticipantGreece beat Portugal in the Euro2004 opening game, my bet is that Hansione is currently celebrating that on Samos with lots of ouzo & retsina….

AGAPParticipantMy trip was great, but the us border guards were NOT in a good mood. They were surly, humorless, bossy & irritable…
Weather was amazing 85 f, great shopping, drank to much, stayed up too late & got up waaaayyy to early, didn’t want to waste a minute.
Got interviewed by a pharmacist/grad student about Canadian health care/single payer system versus the current american system. Went in to buy some melatonin, he checked my id…i still don’t know why…& asked a zillion questions. Interesting but odd experience
He’s setting up the Minneapolis part of a country wide demonstration to change how american health care is funded…
Canadian border guards were much more user friendly, they even called me at home to tell me they would mail out my Pez book that I left on the counter…free of charge

rambleonParticipantman, what the hell is wrong w/american immigration employees ? it’s like they all have an oversized object wedged up their butts or something !! … they even give me a hard time when i go back home + i’m american … then when i come back here – where i am not a citizen, but i have permanent residence – it’s always been plain sailing …

Sirtaki’s all over the place, free drinks en fireworks. If they don’t lose against Russia they are trough.
It’s great fun here, pretty hot and sunny. I use sunmilk factor 2004 and still my face is a bit red.
Ouzo, retsina and beer, and true, a lot of water.
In this internetcafe it’s too hot to write!
See ya soon guys and dolls -
