RobertParticipantnever heard of anything like this, smells kind of fishy from where I’m standing. I mean, how the hell is a brontosaurus pin connected to dinosaur jr? other than the fact that a brontosaurus is a dinosaur. it’s a f*in huge dinosaur as well, not much of a junior.
but then again, stupider promo stuff has been released.October 7, 2004 at 12:07 pm #105333
AGAPParticipantI thought it was kinda strange as well, especially going for one penny

everyonelovesjaronParticipantI’ve never heard of this, but I can’t imagine someone making it up. If you’re going to make up a story to sell a lapel pin, you’re not going to go "it’s a promotional item for a band that broke up 7 years ago" you’d say something like "rare lapel pin given out to donors of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History," or something that would make it appeal to a larger audience. I dunno.
