chaseParticipantThe show was amazing! Inside it was hotter than any show I’ve ever seen there (200+ shows) and it was in the high fifties outside, no sense at all. 2 encores excluding the band all going backstage while Lou replaced a bass string. I didn’t write the set-list down. I was having too much fun to make actual or mental notes. I think "Little Furry Things" was the only ‘single’ to be absent. Murph was sans shirt and dorky hat halfway through (40 minutes or so) and frequent dome chamoising was needed. I think they might have played longer than their hour-fifteen minute set if Murph hadn’t given J. the "I’m gonna pass out" look a few times. There were plenty of shared stoked glances between the three of them and they should’ve been pleased, they rocked the place. It was great being there and hearing numerous people exclaim "I can’t believe this is happening". It did and hopefully will again soon.

longrelieverParticipanti got in based on the coin flip of the owner who, though it sounds too apeasing,(don’t forget, coin flip) was acutally cool just to give us fucks who came way to lately on a way sold out night without tickets, a 50/50 chance of getting in. see, we were tired of him, he was tired of us so he gave us the offer, "heads, you leave, tails, you’re in." Tails it was and we got to see the rock. (we refers to the last five remaining) the reason the owner deserves some gratitude for either making or breaking our hearts is the fact that that place was so packed, a fire marshall would have shot him on sight.
the show was something i hadn’t even fantasized about for a good 13 years. i didn’t even know there was a thought about an idea of a possibility. thank god my buddy, usually out of it, was on it. he told me that day about the show, and i didn’t even know about the reunion. fuck, my dinosaur obsession gone forever ago is back like it never left. the o.g. dionsaur made me squeal like a 13 year old girl. they played for at least two and a half hours and it was all the gooood stuff that you only heard some of live after the o.g. break up. nothing against the fourth album on, but it just wasn’t the same. if they play like they did that night and get along, they are going to please a lot of fans old and new, for a long time. j was fucking solid, lou added a sense of giving a fuck, and murph resembled a water deprived turtle, who was on the verge of death, so he decided to rock like it was his last minutes on the planet.
thanks,
cabwierd sort of comedic note: after j ripped an astounding solo on freak scene, i turned to the two unknown females to my right and i joked, "you are both in love with j right now aren’t you?" the one right next to me replied, i’m lou’s wife." dough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
