    …I’m still hoping, soulseek is small enough & underground/indie music based enough to fly under their radar, but of course, you never know… :| :| :|

    you know i really have no idea how this works … ie how they chose to bust some people, but not others … i just read an update on nme.com saying that in the uk they’ll send you a warning email 1st … so at least you know they’re onto you … but i have no idea if they’ll take the same approach in germany …

    this whole thing is such a downer :evil: … why cause fear + intimidation in the very people who are buying most of the music ? i see downloading as a fact-finding mission … you know, you may have heard of an artist, but not heard them, so you check ’em out … then you might buy their music or see them live … tell your friends all about how great they are, whatever … but this approach is definitely wrong …

    i think the guy from blur put it a lot better than i did, but you know what i mean :D
