They are 6 hours ahead of us, so if they’re Hard Core, maybe even tonight.June 6, 2005 at 1:57 pm #109942
yeah, it is 5:03 pm here, I bet they are on right now!June 7, 2005 at 2:30 am #109943
It got recorded, i think by the band actually, on 4-5 cameras from different angles. I’ve also seen at least one guy with recording equipment in the audience.June 7, 2005 at 3:17 am #109944

bulbs of passion

just like heaven
i don’t think this is exactly what was played, though.June 7, 2005 at 6:35 am #109945
many thanks paavo!!
of course a lot of people here would like to hear some more about how it was, about recordings, pics, impressions…June 7, 2005 at 1:04 pm #109946
It was amazing, I can not believe how good it was. J was in top form, Murph is a much better drummer than I’d expected and Lou is as good a bass player as he is a songwriter. This show really had me see how much Lou and Murph were a part of Dinosaur, it wasn’t just J’s songwriting that was so good.
Also, this was the first show I ever saw with earplugs and I liked it, great sound, no ringing ears.
There were lots of cameras recording the show and at least two photographers. The pics should be up at http://www.vera-groningen.nl pretty soon. I will let you know as soon as I see it. The guy recording right next to me (I was in the front row, naturally) was American, I think, so he may have been with the band. I will email Vera to confirm that.
I got a setlist as well (J’s ) This show should have me happy for at least a week I would say, which is good, because that’s exactly when I’ll be seeing them again, next Tuesday in AmsterdamJune 7, 2005 at 1:05 pm #109947
oh yeah, in the mean time check out the pics of Lou’s performance at Vera a week and a half ago!June 7, 2005 at 2:38 pm #109948
thanks a lot, Samwise!
I’m so thrilled to see them play in London tomorrow, woooohoo!June 8, 2005 at 4:34 am #109949
Got an email back from Vera; apparantly a lot of the European shows are being taped by ‘friends’ of the band. Anybody here know more about that? Hope it shows up here or on FreesoFree, anyway.June 8, 2005 at 6:44 am #109950
