Well it looks like I’ll get my Seattle show.

The mural amphitheater is a cool place to see a show. It sits at the base of the Space Needle at Seattle Center, its a cool site for sure. It will be nice to see Dinosaur jr play an outdoor show again, I haven’t seen them outdoors since I think around 97. Better yet it will be nice to see them for FREE.

I haven’t seen a show at the amphitheater for years. Back in 91 I saw Mudhoney open up for Aldo Nova (I went to see Mudhoney only). Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge came out like a week or two before the show. Anyway during Mudhoney’s set they broke Aldo Nova’s PA and the show had to stop. While the PA was being fixed Matt Lukin practiced his stand up comedy routine and got people to throw coins at him onstage. It was pretty funny.

Also it was back in the day where it was common to see other bands watching shows. I remember seeing Van Conner from the Screaming Trees at that show and Curt Cobain was there too. And no one cared. Ah the good old days. :)

Yes it was, but as Aldo Nova says, "Life is just a fantasy……."
