    As a companion topic to Allison`s lines that just KILL! thread.
    These are killer guitar riffs:

    Velvet Underground-Sweet Jane
    Lou Reed has said himself that this riff could be played a thousand different ways.it is a catchy riff.

    Stooges-I Wanna Be Your Dog
    killer riff for sure!

    Ramones-Blitzrieg Bop
    the Ramones riffs are pretty catchy,that was one of their best qualities,plus their simple but effective lyrics.

    Bad Brains-Pay To Cum
    very fast killer riff

    Husker Du-Chartered Trips
    Bob`s thick distorted guitar tone makes this riff even more cool.

    anyway there`s a few for now,I`ll think up more later.If any of you can think up some add it here.

    Dino Jr. – The Wagon
    Pumpkins – The Aeroplane Flies High (best ever, IMO)
    Pumpkins – Tristessa
    stooges – TV Eye

    I could go on but 5 is enough.

    Gotta love the choices so far…I Wanna Be Your Dog…I played that in an all girl punk band a ways back….turned up really really loud [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img]

    My choices for now are…

    The Stooges…Search and Destroy…one of those spine thrilling chills moments…every single time [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]

    Sonics Rendevous Band…City Slang…one of the best songs in the hx of the world in my opinion…wicked guitar

    Hellacopters…Long Gone Losers…still can’t stop playing this one at least a couple times a day…very cool song.

    I first heard "I wanna by your dog" by Sonic Youth on the latenight tv show Nightmusic,it was awesome,Kim sang it with her hair in her face and wearing a Kiss t shirt,Don Fleming from Gumball was there,playing tin whistle!the show`s host Dave Sanborn blew some free jazz sax and the Indigo Girls sang back up!

    What instrument did you play in the all girl punk band,Allison?

    Hey Salamiguy,

    Wish I could have seen that Sonic Youth bit..sounds pretty amazing. I played guitar…very very badly but also really really loud with tons of distortion. Distraction technique so nobody could tell how crappy we were… [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img] Odd though, my hair is always in my eyes as well… [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img]
