likeaghostParticipantAlright kids give me a break I’m new to this world…
So a few short hours ago I had the pleasure of seeing Sir J and his merry Cobra Verde sidekicks. It was my first Masics solo show and it didn’t dissapoint. Here is my setlist, with a few notes and inquires.
Acoustic
That’s How it’s got to be?
Flying Cloud
What Else is new
Wastin
Tell the Truth
Sameday
Keeblin
Get Me
Everyone Let’s me Down>
Thumb
The Lung>
Throw Down
Why won’t you be my friend??>
Not you Again
Alone
Little Fury Things
That’s How it’s got to be
(Enter Cobra Verde guys)
Ammaring
E:Freak SceneAlright now the crazy marks
?= well he comes out and starts struming quietly and sings sort of a verse or two of That’s how it’s got to be, but he never takes it to the chours and then it ends, it is such a new song I wasn’t sure if it was or wasn’t real and then it was so short that I decided to move on since the show was as well, but now I get the idea that maybe it was a bookend with the acoustic ending full version of the song, well almost fully acoustic being that the Cobra Verde guys joined in mid-song, but alas J was still on acoustic.
??= This was the only song I didn’t know. I don’t have the new album yet so I guess it could be on that, so the name is probably wrong, so if you know my error hit me up and tell me how much of an idiot I am.The clean transistions were a nice surprise, noted by the >’s. The Lung was sadly only 30 or so seconds, Throw Down in it’s complete form was easily longer, but the two worked well together.

That song–Why won’t you be my friend (I would love to hold you tonight even if we just pretend) is QUEST and it’s on the original DINOSAUR album and can also be found on the import QUEST:)
Like Cpt. Salami said thanx for the review and setlist, and welcome to the boards!!!
