eggwaterParticipantThat Thurston tour diary is amazing…I have a photocopy of it from when I was at UNI. When I was feeling low I used to read that and cheer myself up…it’s fucking hilarious.
just ordered that book from Amazon…it’s 16 quid in the UK – can’t wait till it’s released. All my favorite bands – hope there’s some god Pettibon cartoons in it – I love that guy – has he ever released a book of his SST artwork??

SGParticipantThat book should be cool.I`m glad someone is telling the story of what happened between from punk`s early years to grunge, that story between 81-91 is`nt well told enough, and it`s an important chapter in this music.

JPeckinpahParticipantBy the way, who is this "JCrumbliecookies" person ?….why is he mentioned in the book ?…and (if you check the "101" section of the site) why does he know so much about Artie Sinatra ?….hmmm…there is suspicion….can we have clues posted as to her/his identity ?…or am I rudely blowing someone’s cover…..if so, ignore this post.

ScreamingTreeParticipantThis punk Azerad is stealing my life goals…as an aspiring journalist (I’ll be on the school paper next year after 1 year of a Journalism course) I wanted to write a book like that but noooo. Of course I’ll buy it though, it looks good. I guess.

dfkgurlParticipantGot my copy from Barnes & Noble yesterday. Started reading the minute I unwrapped it. Read the Dino bit (of course), parts of the Replacements story and most of the Mudhoney chapter. Read about a show I was at, which was cool. Wish the stories hadn’t ended. Hope Mr. Azzerad has a follow-up planned! Jeremiah, thanks for tippin’ us off to this one.

ScreamingTreeParticipantI got mine and I was surprised to see how much Lou, Murph, and J hated each other. Wow. Did everyone else know this?
