They`re one of the few bands I`ve been listening to for almost 10 years that`s still around Pollard is`nt a young man and the others are probably sick of the music biz,though I`d thought they`d be around forever

No, cant be true!!?
It pisses me off because I was about to see their show in Vienna last fall but I didnt. Now its not possible anymore..
But it is pretty understandable that they(Robert Pollard) are/is quite old now.
Sad.

glad i saw them three times last year. but i wish i would have known they were breaking up. my girlfriend actually suggested going to that show on saturday

GBV.com says Bob will still be doing solo albums,so it seems it`s just the band thing and touring is the reason for no longer wanting to do the GBV deal.

Gotta love that bit about quitting while he’s still relatively handsome

Although, I agree with SG, can’t see him slowing down his musical output, don’t thinks that actually possible for him

wtf, this has completely passed me by. I guess that’s what happens when strange zombies takes control over your computer.
Anyways, this is sorta like J disbanding Dino, isn’t it? I mean, of course it sucks, but as others has mentioned, more music is sure to come from Camp Pollard.
