The DudeParticipanthey all,
for any wilco fans in da house, i’ve just recently gotten my grubby paws on a copy of the bands upcoming album, "yankee hotel foxtrot", and i am happy to report it is excellent. it sounds different from any of their previous records, but is closest to "summerteeth" in comparison. one thing about this band that amazes me, is their ability to change musically, and still produce fantastic songs, something a lot of other bands are afraid to do, or simply can’t do. i’m hoping that all of the hub-ub surrounding the band of late (i.e., parting w/reprise, jay bennett leaving) will bring them the commercial success and attention they so rightly deserve. if some of you have yet to hear any of their music, i highly recommend you do so immediately. their stuff is simply too good to leave out of your music collection. well, them’s my two cents…
word,
The Dude
