AnnastefkaParticipantI paid off my student loan (with a chunk of the refund)
It has been on my back for 17 years, I authorized an increased draft,
it went through, I waited and got the letter in the mail saying it is all over.I got the kids off to school and put my head on the kitchen table and cried,
such a relief, such a relief.April 17, 2005 at 8:03 am #108364
AatosParticipantYesterday I arrived from Barcelona. Didn’t buy anything to myself except for everything i needed for my mission(8 days drunk), which afterall wasn’t so expensive compared to local prices here at home. As a bonus for the mission my face, mouth, stomach got quite wounded due to the lack of vitamins during the trip.
Bought some small things home for my family: a picasso poster, liqeur, summershoes…
Barcelona was great. Gaudi architecture was impressive, not to forget Salvador Dali’s art etc. Great skatespots aswell(Macba, paral-lel, +the whole beach area).

Heavy Trash
Fun collaboration between Jon Spencer (of Blues Explosion fame) and Matt Verta-Ray (Speeball Baby), not heavy, no trash, but the most fun rockabilly record since the Cramp’s ‘Songs the Lord taught us’, dB says: highly recommended

Congrats Annastefka
If I get my tax refund on time–I’m getting SG out of Halifax (or at least part way…) so he could attend the Wonderful Amazing Trio show at Central Park Summerstage
