FlyingCloudParticipantI started running a while ago, and I found out that it’s way more fun with some music in my mp3 player
The first two Sleater-Kinney albums, Call The Doctor and Dig Me Out work perfectly for me, but what else? …I’ve been looking for a Punk Rock Aerobics playlist or something, but didn’t find any such thing on their siteany other suggestions/experiences?

cool, thanks for the tips so far, I started with downloading New Pornographers and Slant6 to see if they work for me. also it seems to be a great occasion to take a closer look to the mighty Hellacopters
…a mix of songs is a good idea, I’ll think of that, but probably it will be without AC/DCgreat spring weather outside, I’ll go running now

HansioneParticipantBecause of my bad knee (soccer injury) only my nose is running everynow and then.
To keep in shape I picked up bicycling.
With Franz Ferdinand on my cd-player I go faster.May 31, 2004 at 3:39 pm #102325
FlyingCloudParticipanthey hansione, somewhere back in my mind I remember a knee surgery story, and one about a male nurse
good to hear your knee is fine for cycling
…running isn’t the best thing for the knees, indeed.
I listened only once to the Franz Ferdinand album, so far. they appeared to me like quite a hype, but nevertheless the music is ok, I think.

FlyingCloudParticipanty’know, I live in a red light district here, and the residents in my ‘hood usually sleep at daytime, when I’m running around  lots of tourists here also, but I don’t see why I should care ….about the residents as well as the tourists
…and they don’t care about me.
I’m usually running in the nearby park, anywayJune 1, 2004 at 3:30 pm #102329
HansioneParticipantBTW running without music on the ears isn’t bad eather, specialy while jogging at the presence of mother nature.

RobertParticipantFC, I was just trying to tease you. Of course you shouldn’t care about the pushers, hookers and turbojugends when you’re out running:)
Also, I would like to suggest NOFX – Punk in Drublic as a great running album.June 2, 2004 at 6:00 am #102331
*sophie*ParticipantFANTOMAS – self titled
RUN FC RUN !!!!!
