timppa67ParticipantYeah, a reliefing news after six weeks of daily checking for this announcement! I saw J performing an acustic solo gig in Helsinki, Finland 7 years ago and now this…
Can’t hardly wait…
Rableon, you´re right. Finland is not part of Scandinavia but we are a Nordic country together with Sweden, Norway Denmark and Iceland.

Mike D:scoParticipantyeah, can´t wait for August 10th! might as well check the gig in Stockholm, too. good enough reason to ride the "sex ferries"!

AatosParticipantWow!!! Great!! Can’t describe the feeling(happy??)…
Hey, FC! Finland is a part of Scandinavia and Europe! Though I’ve seen several maps of Europe where the border is placed where Swedens border to Finland is…
Actually I have observed somekind of lack of awareness of Finland here in Germany… I met a german girl who got really confused when she realized that Finland is a member of the Eu and one of the Emu countries… The Finnish sound/dialect in my german was also something totally strange(probably horrible)…
There doesn’t seem to be any information about the gig or tickets to Tavastia/Helsinki yet. Hopefully I will get mine as fast as possible, though I don’t believe it is going to sell out, but who knows?

AatosParticipantMike D:sco: Haha, nice tour story with plenty of pictures, which actually describe the ferries very well. Tax Free alcohol etc..

timppa67ParticipantAatos and all other Finnish fans: The tickets will be available on Friday, July 1 at Tiketti (http://www.tiketti.fi). The price is 26 euros.

eraserheadParticipantI will probably go to Stockholm on August 9 to see them (I live in another Swedish city, about 2 hours car drive from the capital). I’ve never seen J or Dino live before, but I’ve downloaded about every show from freesofree.net, and listen to them all the time, so this will be pretty big for me. If I can make it.
I e-mailed the venue, but they said it isn’t yet 100% official, and therefore tickets are not on sale as of now, but they said it’s almost official, so tickets should be available in the next couple of days.

AatosParticipantGreat! Probably my brother or someone else will have to go and buy one ticket to me, because my plane to Finland arrives late in the friday evening. Yea, Yea!!

nah, nothing horrible about your german, really
I was surprised how good you were able to communicate in either English and German (and also Swedish). this talent in languages must come from the fact that nobody outside Finland ever would learn Finnish, which is a weird and hard-to-learn language from what I knowhope you Finnish guys will all be able to put your hands on Dinosaur Jr tickets as soon as possible

AatosParticipantFlying Cloud: Yes, it is understandable that bigger countries do not know what is going on in little countries faraway. Especially at the moment when many baltic countries are joining the union. Actually I’m myself not quite sure if f.e. Portugal is a member of EU…
Speaking German is quite fun, I think. Or atleast trying to do it!
Has Dinosaur Jr added any new tourdates that you, FC, are going to visit?
Maybe a friend of mine from Sweden will come to the Dino concert. Thats nice!

timppa67ParticipantThe tickets for the Dino show in Helsinki (August 10) are now sold out (or at least reserved). Just in 5 days! It seems that there are also other Dino fans in Finland than Aatos, myself and some friends of mine
