kracked873Participantlast show of the tour.. amazing. I myself was videotaping and loving every minute of the show. This is deffinetely the best fog yet, the show was just immaculate. Daves bass playing is so good and kyles drumming is so intense and shit. Definetely the loudest J show ive ever seen, you couldnt hear anything but guitar and drums at the show, but the bass and lyrics you can hear pretty clear on my video. I talked to J in the crowd before the show and got his ok to video. Kinda went like this..
"so you guys are cool with us recording the shows right"
"yeah" (nodds his head like whatever)
"im gonna attempt to video tape the show"
"cool
"are the venues cool with it?
then j just nodded his head like i have no clue and we just shook hands and partedSetlist: Get Me, Everybody Lets Me Down, Yeah We Know, Set Us Free, Same Day, Ammaring, Out There, Freedom, Little Fury Things, Thumb, Freak Scene, Alone
E: Throw Down, Wagon, SludgefeastSetlist note: on the setlist J wrote out, budge was also in the encore before the wagon to make a 4 song encore. but they ended up havin to ditch it cause they show was already running like an hour and half.
I was verrrry suprised with the get me opener they never open with get me i was expecting the lung. i wasnt disapointed at all though it wasa great opener, awesome bass solo by dave. Everybody lets me down was excelent, then all the sudden they bust out Yeah we Know and i was freaking thats when it got really intence i definetely didnt think they were gonna play it at all but i was hoping, i know they played it last tour but i didnt see it on any setlists this tour. Anyway that was amazing, set us free great to hear him rock it. Same Day and Ammaring the backto back more lights, awesome cause my friends who i went to the show with are just getting into more light and they love both those songs. Out There allways a very loud rockin classic, awesome song. Freedom good stuff, then little fury and on was just a great dinosaur jr. run. Thumb was great ive actully never seen him play it electric other than on videos, it was awesome intense shit. Freak scene allways great, Alone allways great as well. then the encore, throw down was fuckng awesome first of all, ive never heard of him playing it at an electric show, its the shit even if its only like 40 seconds long. Wagon was great as allways, Sludgefeast of course like the greatest closer of all time. The Show was so great i cant even tell it like it was in anyway.

RSTguitarsParticipantThis was the greatest show I’ve EVER been to! I don’t just mean greatest J show… I mean out of anybody!
I was standing up on the raised section of the club, right near all the speakers and bass bins. Great view, but even with earplugs my left ear is pretty beat today. The volume was amazing… every beat of the kick-drum shook your insides.
Yeah, I was very surprised by the "Get Me" opening too. I was kind of expecting "Out There", and really hoping for "The Lung". No complaints though, it was a great set.
kracked… expect an e-mail from me… I’ve got to get that video!

AnnastefkaParticipantI love "Get Me" but hey, what is going on with Freak Scene? I am having trouble posting. Everything is so white and bright? What happened to black and purple. I hate change. What is this? Help!!!!

lucy92Participanti was NOT impressed with kyle or daves playing whatsoever. and i could barely hear j’s vocals even though i was a few feet away from him. it didnt compare with the last j and the fog show i saw at the middle east last year.
i was thrilled with the inclusion of throw down and yeah we know. i havent heard j play those tunes before.
kracked, im going to be contacting you about that video.
