SGParticipantI don`t want to post a stupid topic but I thought I`d mention this.
The other day I got a new mattress, when I opened it up it stunk like hell,my room`s been stinking for days, every sheet I put on it is stinking as well,I think the taliban made it,a torture mattress.I don`t know if something was spilled on it or it was`nt aired out when they packaged it,anyway I slept in it the past 2 days, everything I ate today tasted weird, not all the food here could be bad, right?
I changed it and got a another one tonight,no smell on this one.
Glad that it`s gone,it made Mattman`s onion pizza smell like roses.October 13, 2001 at 1:07 am #65716
everyonelovesjaronParticipantCheck the tags [the ones you are not supposed to remove]. You may have been a sold a pre-used mattress, and lordie lordie, we don’t even want to consider what could have happened.

HalfmanParticipantHey Salami,
Nag Champa incense would hook you right up. Any hippies out here? October 14, 2001 at 11:14 am #65718
SGParticipantThanks for the info,guys!
It could have had a chemical on it like Tony said,I don`t know,it`s gone now,got a diffrent brand made in Canada,no smell on this one.
It might have been used,it did`nt feel stiff like a new mattress should so it problably was. -
