    i was just kinda wondering if mascis ever posted on the site.. it would be rad if he did. i doubt he does and if he does probably under an alias or something ;. anyways.. just wondering. i probably wont get an answer.. bye, james.

    YES<FONT>, you will get an answer. No he has not posted here (although he has an account)</FONT>. He stays pretty busy (he already has a couple tracks recorded for the next album). In fact, that whole slacker title journalist give him is the biggest bunch of shit I have ever heard. Don’t buy into it.

    Well said, the hack journalists who promote that perception are in my opinion the slackers. Easier to blame a bad interview on Mascis then face the painful truth that they don’t know *##* about getting him to open up.

    yea man.. i totally dont buy into a lot of the shit that journalists say.. nor do i really give a shit what they say or there opinions on the person there interviewing. the actual interview is just important. by the way.. umm.. can you tell me what his username is?? if you want to. probably not. privacy thing. not like i would message him or anything. just interested to know. thanks.. james

    re: the slacker thing…I have found that today, you can dye your hair purple and put a bone through your nose, and the kid that will get picked on the most is always the quiet one sitting by himself in the corner…just food for thought…

    also must point out that J is a Sagittarius- lemme tell ya, I’ve dated a few Sagittarians in my day and absolutely none of them were slackers…astrology doesn’t run my life but I find the description of Sag as intense, compassionate, & flighty to be accurate…use this info as you will [img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/smilies/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

    Now that is dedication. Have you thought about putting a bone through your hair and dying your nose purple? That would probably get a reaction!

    Sure, because private messaging and email features are turned off for that account. It is jonline which I set up for him so he could maintain his privacy yet participate if he likes. If you ever see that name popup in a chat or posted in a thread it is him. Most of the time he just browses through as a guest though.     Agreed. How can they call the man a slacker? He plays/writes almost everything on his albums. What the hell have they done?

    Yeah, you guys are right…it was just a fucking "social experiment" to see how many soulless people could torment me as a kid…I think maybe you missed the point I was making somewhere. No harsh feelings I hope.

    Hey Rosa, I’m sorry if I offended you. I agree with what you said in your previous post and have proven it as I played both roles at one point or another in school. I was just laughing about that image of a bone through someones hair and a purple nose. Must be suffering from a lack of sleep because that made me laugh outloud at work.
