duaneParticipantThought this was kinda intresting…..anybody going to Bonnaroo, by the way?
Stephen Malkmus has put off plans for a spring tour, according to a post on his official Web site. "Now it is dust — can’t find the right drummer," Malkmus wrote. Although longtime drummer John Moen played on Malkmus’ 2005 Matador album "Face the Truth," he is now a full-time member of the Decemberists, who recently jumped from Kill Rock Stars to Capitol Records.
Malkmus was last seen on the live stage in January, when he played a solo acoustic show opening for singer/songwriter Rebecca Gates at the Knitting Factory Tap Bar in New York. "I’ll let you know when more gigs [and a] new album are cooking," he said on his site.
The lone show on Malkmus’ schedule at present is a June 18 appearance at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tenn.
