Lou Barlow + Snailhouse

At La Sala Rosa in Montreal, Oct 5th.

I didn’t realise what ’emo’ meant until the other night… ugh, I’m slow…like a turtle crossing the road. Good show–started a little late. Both seemed to be missing band members. Lou played requests and had a dead pan sense of humour–and proceeded same as J. while looping acoustic guitar to play Moog type instrument. Plus, like J., he jammed with a flutist on stage, whom had told him he needed some flute in his songs. Snailhouse  was solo and good, but in construction in some of the songs department. Â

yes, slow, ’cause emo doesn’t mean "folk" It’s just FOLK !
