FlyingCloudParticipanthey chaos, welcome here on the site!
it’s always great to see new folks here on the boards, who share our Dino/J appreciation and other interests.we’re from all over the world here, from the US, from many European countries, Australia, you can even meet people from South America, Japan or from other Asian countries from time to time. feel free to talk with us here about Dino/J and anything else that comes to mind!
apart from that, I’ll keep my fingers crossed, you’ll also find local Dino/J fans, too

AnnastefkaParticipantChaos, I often dreamed I would meet a boy who loved all the same things I did.
Yesterday my husband brought home ABBA’S GREATEST HITS, in SPANISH
you would think he had struck gold. When I play any J music he jokes with friends, "She listens to him whine for about an hour and then she gets the idea and starts to whine herself"
I wouldn’t trade him for anyone else in the world but once in while he does cause me to entertain the thought of making him a big dish of amanita mushrooms.

malcomParticipantQuote:Chaos, I often dreamed I would meet a boy who loved all the same things I did. . . likewise, only for females. Current girlfriend likes MXPX and such. The Pixies and Joy Division are described as ‘weird.’ I actually played Hella one time (severe instrumental math rock), the look on her face was priceless.
An acquaintence on campus said he once took a date’s Ryan Adams out of the car stereo and replaced it with a Melvins bootleg, same thought process.

It`s better to have a gf into MXPX than Celine and Mariah though

andyfestParticipantGirls are still going through a Lenny Kravitz phase? She will get over it eventually, not to worry. I just hope she’s not into Dave Matthews because that will never go away….

Imagine meeting a great girl, only to find out she likes dmb, it would be mental castration.

AatosParticipantYes, i hope it will get over for her, though i dont care as long as she doesn’t get too narrowminded for other(read ‘better’) artists..
By the way, I saw a huge Dave Matthews Band -poster in a store today…
