Just to let all of you know, Lard Zeppelin featuring J Mascis on drums just booked a summer show. We will be playing on July 31st at The Beachcomber in Wellfleet Ma. (Cape Cod). Also on the bill is The Count Me Outs (featuring Hilken from Punk Rock Aerobics) and also, The Rudds (my favorite new band from Boston). The Beachcomber is a great club that is located right on the beach.

I’ve never seen J play drums. I really like what he does with the drums. Does anyone have video of J playing drums? Or Photos?

Here is the info about the first two Lard Zeppelin shows:

Also here is a review of one of the first Lard Zeppelin shows ever on Oct 2003 in Boston: Lard Zep show in Boston :D

It will be a Led Zeppelin tribute show, which will be featuring Ray Neades on vocals and J on drums. Hope we’ll hear more about who will be the other band members.

And here’s the Beachcomber site, with some pics of J from a gig in 1999. If you browse around on the site, there is all info about the club to find there.

….re-read it by chance on Mike Watt’s Hootpage this weekend, and somehow remembered the name Neades…..

….and of course it’s the interview with the great Metallica quote:

    Quote:
Me- What about Napster? What do you guys think about that issue?
Mascis- Well my first feeling was whatever Metallica was against, I was for
