HughParticipantHey, I’m working on a review piece for the new re-issues that Merge just put out. I had a question about "Keep The Glove." It didn’t appear on the original pressing of Bug, but it is on the re-issue. Is this an unreleased track? What is its origin?
Thanks,

bobParticipantit was the b-side to freak scene. great tune. I more heavier live version is on the whatever’s cool with me ep.
It’s cool that it’s on Bug now but "Don’t" only makes sense as a last track though don’t you think.

HughParticipantThanks for answering. Yeah, "Don’t" is the more logical closer. I was also confused as to why "Show Me The Way" was replaced by "Just Like Heaven." That song came out like two years after You’re Living All Over Me.

andyfestParticipantThe best guess I’ve heard as to why "Show Me the Way" was replaced on YLAOM is that it has to do with Frampton’s royalties or some sort of licensing snafu. I have no idea if this is actually what happened but it seems more logical than Merge just deciding it shouldn’t be on the reissues.

AGAPParticipantThis is Merge records response to the question about Show Me The Way…
the way these albums affected people when they were first released (when i’m sure most of us got them on LP) was without any of the covers or b-sides people are asking for them to contain now. For example, "Show Me the Way" was never on the album YLAOM, it was a bonus track the first time it appeared. Maybe that inclusion was against the band’s will and they’re rectifying that now? I don’t know.
