J Dreams

Has anyone ever had a dream about J? It could be funny, creepy, weird, etc.

I had a dream last night that I went to this bar to see some bands play. I was leaning against the bar watchin’ the stage and J Masic was up there. He started singing an acoustic
version of "You are my Sunshine, my only sunshine…you make me happy, when skies are grey…"

I think it was a combination of the following:
Before Bed, I was thinkin’ how I had to call my friend Sunshine who is a massage therapist since I was having major neck pains. I was also talkin’ about this bar in Silverlake called Spaceland that I really like since they always have cool bands play. Then I realized that happens to be where I saw one of J’s accoustic shows. Funny how all these separate elements can come into 1 dream. Ha ha. [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]

Hi Shade

After the guys had their accident this year, I had this recurring dream where I would go to a Fog show, talk to J at the bar, and ask him if I could see where his back was broken. And he would pull up the back of his shirt and show me this big bruise, as if it were no big deal. The funniest part was when he said, "Try not to touch it".

And as long as we’re talking about weird dreams, I had a dream about Slash last week, and then he was on Conan the following night. COINCIDENCE? I think so.

Interesting dream Shade, kinda fits with my belief about the brain and dreams…not freudian/jung related but neuroscience…that dreams are a way of sorting thru the info taken in all day. Getting rid of the not needed info and processing the necessary info into memory…sounds like the J stuff is part of the important memories…cool [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Dreams I can remember:
-playing records with Evan Dando,he wants to hear reggae,I don`t have any reggae records.
-I was at Cookie Monster`s wedding
-bought EBC but it had a diffrent cover-pic of J instead
-at the airport with the Ramones and Rolling Stones,Keith was trying to bum smokes off people.
-standing on a wall in the middle of a lake
-looking through cd`s for a band from Utah,why Utah?I don`t know.
-walking around this small town with huge pipelines,looks like Alaska.I wonder if this place exists?

i had a dream last nite that i was being chased by a giant bear, i was in a car driving round all these hedges but i couldn’t get away..dont u find u wake up at the pinnacle of ur dreams..?

PS: eat cheese before you go to bed Allison, it takes ages to digest so keeps u in light cleep for longer..then maybe u’ll have more dreams..

Hey salamiguy this wasn’t a dream but you might find it amusing. A friend of mine from highschool was dating Evan Dando a couple years after we’d graduated h.s. I ended up running into dando one night at her apt. when i was in nyc visiting friends. We ended up sitting around playing/singing dino jr. songs. I was excited because I would finally be able to find out what the last line of "In a Jar" is. I asked Dando and this is the story he told me: He used to go and watch them reherse just before the living all over me album. at the end of the rehersal’s J would leave lyric sheets strewn about the floor and Dando would collect them. So I asked him excitedly. "what’s the last line." Well apparently he’d lost the lyric sheets, couldn’t remember the line and now J refuses to tell him what the line is. I was bummed but it was pretty freakin’ funny at the same time. anyway just thought you might find the anecdote amusing. kind of silly, but it’s a true story — at least according to Dando.

t was a weird kinda psychedelic dream about being in another town for a conference, got kidnapped by mistake…released, but couldn’t find the hotel I was to meet voodoo guy at. Walking down a street came across this blue store that sold betty boop collectibles so of course I went in. Once inside the store the house kept changing shapes, rooms were bigger, stairs were doing this weird spinning thing, the house was just growing into weird shapes every time I entered a new room. Made my way thru the main floor to the back and it changed from a betty boop store to an alien deal…mars attacks

i’ve heard so many variations and different opinions on what that line is(what’s yours) and I thought I’d finally find the truth. alas old Dando dropped the ball. how funny is it that J refused to tell him what the line is years later.
had a dream a few weeks ago that I was singing back-ground vocals with R.E.M and patty smith(except patty smith sounded like nancy griffith) I had to read a spoken word part, but i kept messing up cause the photo copy of the words were all blury and Stipe got upset with me cause I was making up the spoken word section and speaking in fragments. Then the lights went pitch black and we launched into a three part accapella harmony of "I believe"
I woke up feeling exilerated — heart beating. It’s funny cause I really can’t sing at all.

I’ve 1 or 2 J dreams in the past but I can’t remember them too well and there not that interesting. However I always have dreams about shopping for CDs or comic books and I find a bunch of titles that I want and that don’t actually exists and I flip the rack around and they aren’t there anymore and there is so much stuff and then I wake up and I try to pull all the stuff I acquired in my dream through to the real world with me but I can’t, It incredibly frustrating and I have these dreams all the time.

Bob-I have the same kind of dreams,I`m at a used cd store and have a bunch of cash and find alot of cool cd`s that don`t really exist.
Comic books are too much money these days,back in the 80`s when I started collecting them they we`re the right price now it`s just crazy how much they cost now.

I had this dream like a week ago i thought about posting it but, i was like eh its just a dream,

I was on a class trip in High School (Nice to see those guys faces again) and we were hiking up in the woods, all of a sudden we saw some old signs on the road that were Ramones concert posters, and the road was littered with them. So were walking past i realize im in my underwear and i look around and i see the ramones minus Joey, and i turn more left and theres J, i Just go up to him and try to talk in broken stuttering, stammering, english i say im your biggest fan, he just looks at me and laughs, and then my calls me wakes me up and invites me over for thanksgiving,
