Rambleon, many people enjoy food and fun outside and see a large fireworks display here in town, but our family has a tradition of buying our own, well, we have about 5 families that get together and this was our year to buy. We have a huge pot-luck,lots of great food and the children(eleven of them this year) play together all day long. Lots of beer and bluegrass music, about midnight everyone was laying around the house, the children were asleep and I asked my friend Joel if he had his
Pink Floyd CD "Meddle" that is always a great piece of music to play when no one can move, all we could do was look at each other. I am pregnant so I wasn’t wasted only I had had a very full day and way to many sweat things to eat, blueberry pie with whipped cream, strawberry cake, watermelon, coffe with chocolate,
lemonaid, it was terrible, I had like sugar overdose around midnight and I was asking myself "WTF" everyone kept bringing sweets along with other "real" food and we all kept tasteing until midnight when we all felt out of it.

mmm … blueberry pie, strawberry cake, watermelon … that menu sounds pretty tasty … although maybe not all on one day, like you said … … i’m not familiar w/that album … in general pink floyd unsettles me, so i generally try to keep away …

how is your pregnancy going ? … + remind me how much longer you have to go … did you decide on a name yet or is that top secret until the big day ? :aliensmile:
