I was there of course, but I just read this thread, otherwise we could’ve met…..what were you doing in Italy? Anyway, in my opinion it was a good show, they had a few problems with the soundcheck so they started a bit late, at around 23 PM. The surrounding was beautiful, the Festival was held on top of a hill of the city of Urbino, inside the gardens of an ancient castle….before Dinosaur jr, Julian Cope and The Raveonettes played…at the end of the concert I sneaked to the backstage where I took photos with Lou and Murph, and I had some cd’s and booklet autographed by all of three….it was funny when I handed my copy of the bootleg "Jayloumurph" to Lou to sign it, he was surprised to see it, then he looked at the setlist and he said something about it, like that he didn’t believe they actually played some songs or something like that…it was also funny when we took the picture, he told me to strike the pose and shaking hands like politicians do. Then I went over back to J to take a picture with him also, but before I could do that I was kicked out by the security guys ’cause I had no pass. A full video of this show exists.

So my plane was delayed, I got to the airport in florence with 3 hours to get there. Rented a car left my family and drove to Urbino. When I got off at the Urbino exit I had no idea where to go. Drove around, eventually found it and had enough time to get a beer and they started. Tons of people took pics, and video and I told them to go to freesofree but I don’t know if they understood me. The place was beautiful, on the top of a hill by an old fortress. I don’t remember the whole setlist but there was the lung, just like heavan, chunks, bulbs of passion, freak scene, gargoyle, the post, little fury things,repulsion, raisans, kraked, sludgefest and a couple more. It was a short set though. J seem to be having fun playing to the crowd. I eventually went back stage and murph was blown away that I was the same guy from Spaceland. Talked to Lou a little and said hi to J. Took a picture of some girl with Lou and Murph and called J over to get the whole band. And I took off to find my hotel.
