    well, how many indie labels and artists are being played on mtv? not a fucking lot, if any. if craig david is indie, then I’m the gay king of france wearing leopard tuxedos to the banquet celebrating the second coming.

    as I read this now, I just feel the need to point out that it is in no way meant to bash out at you rambleon! Mtv is my target. Just so we have that clear :D

    Just a question, how many organizations actually expect to get PAID for being advertised on a network?

    Well, the band/artist "owns" the songs, it’s their merchandise. So when a song is played on either radio or a musicvideo is shown on tv there’s a set prize for how much each minute on radio and tv is worth. And thus the artist gets paid accordingly. And I think that’s just fair.
