RobertParticipantWell, the band/artist "owns" the songs, it’s their merchandise. So when a song is played on either radio or a musicvideo is shown on tv there’s a set prize for how much each minute on radio and tv is worth. And thus the artist gets paid accordingly. And I think that’s just fair.
