I can’t believe the central park show is over. It came and went to soon. I feel like I didn’t get to appreciate it enough. I didn’t walk around enough and see who was there. I should have went in earlier but I had to mmet up with a couple of friends. I wish some other friends weren’t lame and went. They were really big Dino fans but bailed because they are shot. Anyway I will see Dino at least one more time this summer, and J again I am sure but it will never be the same. Its now looking back again instead of forward. When I think about it I seriously get a physical feeling of sadness. Oh well, maybe I’ll get my stuff together and one day I can play summerstage. Thats about the only think that would make me happy. That and a Dino, MBV, Ride show.July 18, 2005 at 1:09 pm #111305

I can relate to this!! It sounds like the US shows have been amazing…. I have seen some great gigs this year… Arcade Fire in Paris, Comets On Fire in a wee pub in Brighton, Melvins in London… But Dinosaur at the Forum….. I felt battered afterwards – but ina good way. So inspired but I want another fix…. so roll on the You’re Living All Over Me show!
Dinosaur addiction is tough to kick….July 19, 2005 at 6:47 pm #111312

I am thinking about Portland and Seattle. But I blew so much last week I would have to sell a guitar pedal to go. I can go to Italy though if I drive 2:30 hours threw a place I have never been to get there right after I land with my family. But I think just the coincidence that I have never been there and the day I get there they are playing is worth it.July 21, 2005 at 6:12 pm #111313
thank you for identifying the feeling i’ve been trying to understand. i’ve been diagnosed… finally. totally bummed out back in VT. and it happened for me after the central park show as well. it was three glorious nights in a row of dinosaur…and now…nothing. what do we do? is there a pill for this? i mean a legal one? boo hoo hoo. i relive it in my head and believe memories are good for coping.July 22, 2005 at 5:59 am #111314
I guess I’m a "soiled tosser"
But if these Dharma Bums can get in gear for a Montreal alma matter: The Cabaret Music Hall its just a wee drive from some home stateJuly 23, 2005 at 7:51 am #111315
