everyonelovesjaronParticipantThe first time you get an LP, how do you listen to it? Do you play it in background? Do you take a conscientious effort to sit down and listen to it along with the liner notes? A mixture of both? Depend on the album?
I find that records I’ve been anticipating, I sit down and listen to along with the lyrics. Other albums that I get, I just listen to passively, and if I like them, I then turn up listening to them along with the liner notes. Anyone else have strange listening habits? SGParticipantListening habits can be strange sometimes, when I was younger I might listen to a few songs from an album and play them the most and not bother with the rest of it.
In the past 8 years I`ve started to listening to the entire album, looked at the liner notes after I listen to it and not always pay much attention to song titles.
These days I set the cd player on shuffle and play 5 tunes and then switch it to another cd.
For the mp3`s I taped from my computer I just play the stuff I like and skip the stuff I`m not too into. -
