Gear interview wanted

I remember some time ago reading an interesting article about J Mascis’ gear.
I remember the interviewer described coming to J’s house and meeting the bulldog. J showed him his basement with guitars, amp and his muff’s.
I remember I sould stop puttin’ remember in front of every sentence

Can somebody help me with a link? That would be nice. Thank you

That was in like Maximum guitar from ’97. I think Matt has that on his site? If not, I know its on the net somewhere….its even shown up on the boards a few times. R.J.

‘diggin up bones’ is a pretty good representation…considering it way years old!! just like that guitargeek site…
i’m a waitin on somebody doin a present day writeup on his gear-whats the chances of that?

I’d love to know what gear survived the big fire at Bob’s place & if he’s rebuilding a home studio..what needed to be replaced.

But yeah, those articles are great, would be nice for someone to do something new…hint hint journalists out there
