I love to cook and my husband had a great idea!!! On the 28th I will put out a spread of food and drinks. I wanted to do this for the MA show on the 30th but have heard it can’t be streamed. If you want to meet up before the show and relax just e-mail or PM and I will get you directions. I live 6 minutes from the 40 Watt. We have some beds for sleeping and if those fill we have lots of room for throw down type sleeping. 8)

hey Annastefka, what a great offer that is!
… in fact it made me wonder for a sec if it wasn’t possible for me to make it over to GA from Europe to see the show, but well, it’s a bit too far… :|

Have a lot of fun at the show, all :D:D:D

Flying Cloud If you could clue up the cash it would be worth it. Spring is beautiful here and I am at home all day taking a break from teaching other children and just working with my own. If you come from Europe you have to stay a few weeks. We make lots of free time for going to the river (15 mins. away) and Islands (just a few hours away) Before I had children I would hop on a plane just for the fun of it. I know some of my friends were wondering so I will let you know, my little chicks will be staying with another homeschool family on that night.

Yes, Yes, J and the Fog A sort of southern fog, you might say, Schools and Spence are both Athens.

BTW My good friend Livia is going to be with her family in England for 2 weeks, June 6- 21, and she is looking for someone to live at her house and feed and water the animals, only 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 hermit crab (he,he so cute) and a rabbit. She has enlisted my help in finding a housesitter. If anyone wants to spend a few weeks in Athens in a older farmhouse 10 mins. from downtown let me know.

wow, an overwhelming thought: taking a plane, flying over to the US, seeing the first Fog show with the new lineup, having a cool place to stay…
…really made my brain start to work & to check the dates. unfortunately there are fixed appointments in my schedule that week, so I can’t make it :( anyway, thanks a big lot for the offer, Annastefka, also hope you’ll find someone nice & trustable to take care of the hermit crab and his home :)

I hope you and everyone who can make it to the J & the Fog show on April 28 in Athens/GA have a lot of fun !!! :!: :D

…here are all the details about the show: The Return of The Fog!!!

I had someone ask about driving downtown from my house and we have 3 cars leaving from my house for the show. So yes you can just leave your car here. I have just found out (3 weeks ago ) that I am going to have yet another baby! So I will not be drinking. If that answers a few questions. Stefka

I don’t know anything about food or drink in athen’s but I saw that The Sunshine Fix is opening up for J tomorrow. That will be a really cool show. The Sunshine Fix has a really different sound that J but I would love to go because I love both bands. Whoever goes will have a great time.

Thanks for the tip on the opening act. On January 26th, I think we got to the Caledonia around 10:35 I forced all of my company to come with me. They were moaning (wanting to stay at the bar drinking ) about J not coming on for another hour or so. I got to see the Tom Collins band and I really liked them, I had heard the buzz about them but ….. The Sunshine fix, I think I will have a listen…….

Thanks, it was nice to wake up and have the computer (via Y’all)
say congratulations. I will be 40 in a few weeks so this was a shock. Yes, this will be child #5, My husband has a child from a first marriage (when he was 20, yikes!)He lived with us until last September, he is now 21 and working in Atlanta in banking, he is doing great. Then we ( together) have three right up against each other,
Cecilia age 9, Juan Carlos, age 8, and Tiger Liliana, Age 5,(this will be the forth Stefka, Juan combo.
We have a child Anna, (age 9) that lives with us during the week because her parents work out of town.So this will be number five of sorts, I can’t wait until we get our camera up and working again then you can try to piece them together. Cecilia has very curly hair, Juan Carlos is the only boy, and Anna hair is long, dark and straight. Tiger Liliana, very blond!

Well TONIGHT is the show. We will have a party here, and I told the children they can stay for the party and then we will leave to go downtown and they will go stay with friends.
This post is starting to look like a RUSSIAN NOVEL, but I just had to
say, JUAN CARLOS, he is my little guy with autism , he begged us at dinner last night to take him to the show. IT will be too loud and smokey we told him and you have to be older to even go in the door.
He said "but it is the smokey that I want to see! "I want to see J mascis with his fog machine"" "He will put fog all over the stage and then come out with his guitar and everyone will clap. We don’t have aTV and so I have no idea where he has heard of a fog machine or any association with music shows but he did, so sweet. Bye Oh, Cecilia just reminded me, DUHHHHH, Juan saw that on "School OF ROCK" thats where he got that idea, and he hears the word fog, I get it now. Okay last night it was so funny, we were like "Where did that come from" Chapter 21.

wow ! that really is v.generous and kind of you to look after anna … i bet her parents are super appreciative … so it’ll be an even fuller house … that’s crazy … good luck to you … and as for tonight, have a great time + of course you’ll have to tell us all about it … btw, what’s on the pre-show menu tonight ? :D

Yes, Anna’s parents are very happy. She is a great kid, a sagittarius like J. Her parents also pay me very well. She has been with us from the age of 2. I will have to dig up some now and then photos. Then menu tonight has been changed to something a little more simple then I had planned. Our hound dog just had to go to the vet for $164 bucks this week. Next weekend is the leaf festival in North Carolina, and so I decided to go easy.

We will have a family favorite, Red beans and rice, guacamole, fried plantains, salad and ice tea, for a sweet, mango pie. ( I can make a lot of this for not a lot of dinero) I am going to make a pitcher of Sangria, I lived in Spain for a year and I am a big fan of Sangria in the summer time. I wish I could bring a pad of paper and pencil and make a set list to print for tomorrow but I have to leave that to others because I can’t work and try to have fun at the same time it blows my mind.
    Recipe for Sangria:
1/2 lemon cut into 1/4 inch slices
1/2 orange cut in 1/4 inch slices
1 apple cored and cut into super thin wedges
    1/4 cup of superfine suger
1 bottle dry red wine, I go for $14 wine or cheaper because well, you are adding all of this stuff to it.
    1/4 cup of brandy
1 small bottle of chilled club soda
mix and refrigerate for 1 hour of more.

one guy is bringing Gin and another Whiskey! Good Gosh it is only Wednesday. Okay, look at this post I am such a girl, I always think of myself as a "Dude girl" that is what my husband first called me when we met, the "Dude girl" but I am really such a girl.
