antipopParticipantIN the process of building my new home I had to sell most of my guitars and Bass guitars for some extra funding.
Here’s a list i’ve what I used to own.
Belman Guitar Custom(bass-5 string)
Music Man 4 string Bass-I really miss that!
Gibson Les Paul Special
Maton sound master
Trace Elliot Bass head(300w)
Trace Elliot Bass Quad Box
Teac 4 track recorder
Marshall amp:<forgot name but it was a combo!I now only own an Ibanez electric(which is my future wife to be’s)
and a Samick acoustic!Getting to the point, I am looking to build up my collection again by buying an Epiphone les paul and i was wondering what u guys think of em! I can pick 1 up real cheap here second hand, I know its not the real thing but I have to start off slow seeing my funding is low!

malcomParticipantA friend of mine has one, and he likes it. If you want a real Les Paul tone, you should probably buy one of the set neck models. basically those are built the same way as the US models (of course they aren’t IDENTICAL, but they do have the same woods)

antipopParticipantHey deepsludge,
I bought my les Paul new at a local store which was having a sale and i only bought it for $1300AUS. I ended up selling it for $1400AUS 9 months later so i ended up making a hundred bucks. The only instrument i really lost shit loads on was the musicman stingray. I lost $1500aus on that baby!
