hangoverParticipantthey go on public sale on march 24th but you can buy them now from this link (you also need to join getlive if you haven’t already)
http://www.getlive.co.uk/events/presale … DinosaurJr
tickets are £17 each plus the usual extortionate ticketmaster booking fees (mine came to £45 for 2) but what the hell, beats going to donnington to see them!
woo!

jmetParticipantTa for that link. I just booked mine. Now I don’t have to go to Donnington.

March 23, 2005 at 11:03 am #107828
rambleonParticipanti still can’t find any mention of the 9th, but the good news is that the forum is a mean fiddler venue … this means that if you live/work near a mean fiddler venue (ie the garage, astoria etc) you can buy tix w/o any service charge …
anyhow … here’s the link to their site, but it says the tix aren’t on sale yet : http://meanfiddler.lggmedia.com/search.asp?todo=search&genre=general&ev=%24forum&tp=london&sb_date=23%2F3%2F2005&date_field=0&page=2&IsNews=&sortOrder=”>http://meanfiddler.lggmedia.com/search. … sortOrder=

rambleonParticipantmean fiddler home page
http://www.meanfiddler.com/displayPage.asp?PageID=402″>http://www.meanfiddler.com/displayPage.asp?PageID=402
took me a long time to load for some reason, but it lists all their news (ie new shows) + links to all their venues …
i guess the dinosaur jr blurb will be up tomorrow …
j loves london, j loves london …

trans4merParticipantThe story about the 9th was on nme.com but it’s now been taken down for some reason
March 23, 2005 at 12:12 pm #107831

rambleonParticipantwell, i broke down + ordered w/ticketmaster … £11 service charges … man that’s steeeeep !!!
well … at least i have a confirmation no now … btw, it looks like standing’s sold out, so i went for the old fart upstairs section …
… suits me fine …
anyhow … the forum’s a great venue and it’s in my part of town … i saw jesus lizard there years ago + it was awesome … plus i’ve seen sonic youth there + a few others that i can’t remember right now …
… + i’m sooo glad they didn’t go for the brixton academy
(crappy sound, crappy location, generally crap
)

Just a thought but the nme were advertising the 9th earlier so maybe when the gig for the 8th sells out they will announce the 9th gig. That’s what they did with Nine Inch Nails a couple of weeks back
March 25, 2005 at 5:26 am #107836
swayzakParticipantStill a few standing tickets left here (just bought 4
)……
