Carl.ParticipantI suck at the set list thingies.. But here is what I recall from the top of my head.. I may have missed one or two or 100..
From Dinsosaur:
Bulbs of Passion
Forget the Swan
Repulsion
Does it Float
(I know I am missing one or two here)You’re Living all Over me:
Little Fury Things
Kracked
Sludgefeast
Raisans
The Lung
In a Jar
Just like heaven (encore)Bug:
Freakscene (encore)
No BonesThere was one more song in the encore, but I can not remember what it was, nor do I remeber the order. All I know is that I had a blast.
A buddy and I got there a little late, so we missed Alaska and Drunk Horse. I honestly did not think we would have missed so much of the show, but it appears the Grove does get the show started close to the time on the ticket (which was 7:30, and my buddy got off work at 7:15).
As far as the facility, it was nice. There was plenty of room outside for the smokers among us, and plenty of room for drinks and schwag. Very clean, as well. That is to be expected since it is relatively new.
The PA could have been set up better, since if you get close to the stage, you can not hear the vocals. In fact, Lou said TWICE, that if you want to hear the vocals you would have to move back. I was in section two, and Lou’s vocals were darn near impossible to make out. J’s were okay, not great. (Yeah, I could have moved back, but chose not to).
and hey.. It was a dinosaur jr. show, so who can complain, right???
Tonight.. AVALON!!!

People in the front kept complaining about not being able to hear vocals apparently and Lou explained where they PA speakers were and how if you were behind them you would not be able to hear the vocals as well.

stannerParticipantthats true for any band at any venue…
if you are in front of(too close to the stage) the projection field of the p.a. speaker system you’re not going to hear the vocals very good-since you are hearing the band at stage volume and the vocal mikes go right to the p.a.
