hurtincruxParticipantsevered lips-descendents would be interesting
tarpit-sonic youth
little fury things-butthole surfers
bulbs of passion-Melvins
mountain man-fugaziMay 13, 2002 at 6:05 pm #57086
jamclarkParticipantQuest – Palace / Oldham
Not the Same – My Bloody Valentine
Freak Scene – Guided by Voices
Water – Grandaddy
Sludgefeast – Trans AmI’ve just got all these weird images in my head right now. Bob Pollard slurring the chorus to Freak Scene while hitting audience members with leg kicks and microphone swings. A heavily distorted version of Water with robot voices. Hearing Oldham moan ‘And Bugggggggggs have feelers jussssst like me….’. The outro to ‘Sludgefeast’ being a techno-boogie.

SGParticipantMy weird images would be Trail Of Dead would put a big violin and cello section in the noise section near the end with Trail Of Dead going crazy with feedback at the same time
In the Hellacopters version of Pebbles And Weeds;Nick Royale would hollar FEEL THE POWER FEEL THE POWER instead of whispering it like J does May 24, 2002 at 3:46 pm #57088
SGParticipantArab Strap-Flying Cloud

RobertParticipantTom Waits covering Quest would put a big smile on Roberts face. A Waits cover of Take A Run At The Sun would be great as wel.
My last exam tomorrow so I’m past the stage where my eyes are bleeding and my brain is screaming for rest. Looking forward to getting hopelessly drunk tomorrow night!

AGAPParticipantGood call on all the Tom Waits covers, especially Take A Run At The Sun…that would be so cool, can you imagine the cool video he would do for that one
Last exam good luck to your bleeding eyes, screaming brain…and the rest of you!!! Have fun afterwards, definitely deserved from the sounds of it
