AmuseddaysleeperParticipanthey im seeing dinosaur jr in toronto this sunday and was wondering if anyone can give me a general heads up on what kind of merchandise is available at the shows and roughly how much did they cost? i dont need every shirt or whatever just in general how much were shirts were and has anyone had luck in meeting the band after a show or anything?
is this pretty much what the shows are selling or is there more?

AmuseddaysleeperParticipantthats awesome! the posters weren’t signed that were being sold were they? some bands (sleater kinney) tend to do that during shows tho not always. were tshirts $20 at the shows or more/less?

AnonymousInactivesorry, I did not look at the prices. I can’t usually afford concert tees. dont know if the posters were signed. but the shirts in your link are what they had. Also, someone mentioed J and friends sing for Amma. Amma is the Hindu leader which J follows. She is a Sufi who travels the world hugging people. A buddy of mine who also follows Amma, saw J and his wife married by her.

squeaplerParticipantat the dc show the other night, some of the shirts were only available in really limited sizes, like the cows were only in youth large and adult small and medium. i dunno if they got a new shipment of shirts in for the new york gigs.

lethrneck4Participantthe poster i got at the northampton show was signed, numbered (i think mine said 6/120) and said second edition all in small lettering at the bottom. its the poster for the cats cradle show.
they also gotta make up some stickers to sell. dino jr stickers are impossible to find and im sick of making my own!

NCDanParticipantThey were signed by the person who made them, not the band, if that’s your question. Gettting them to sign it is up to you. It’s easy, though.
They were selling Cat’s Cradle posters at shows other than the Cat’s Cradle? Not the different places?
