Check out some cool videos

I`ve mentioned launch.com before but I`ll mention it again;they have some cool videos;they have videos by a ton of artists,yesterday I saw vids by Grant Hart,Yo La Tengo,Fastbacks,Galaxie 500,etc.
When you check out a video,put it to 300 k,that seems to be the best quality.
Yesterday I had some difficulty with the videos going off 2 min into it,but I think they were having some tech problems,so keep trying if you have any trouble watching it.

That is a very cool site, haven’t visited for awhile so will definitely check it out. Last time I was there I had the sad 56K dial up deal…ick.

Was the Grant Hart video Admiral of The Sea, I think thats what I saw there…odd choice for a video in my opinion. Probably not a lot of cash for videos though with Nova Mob. They also have some Jesus and Mary Chain and I think I caught a Michelle Gun Elephant video as well.

Yeah that Grant video was Nova Mob.
They have a Saints video there,they do have some Michelle Gun Elephant,2 Bob Mould videos and all the Sugar videos.
quite alot of cool stuff there,everyone should check it out and fine their favs there.

Just wanted to say thanks again, checked out those Sugar videos…Gee Angel…I had never seen that one b4…cool. Bob takes a good shot of something straight in the eyes during Tilted…didn’t pick up a mike and start swinging though [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img] The Helpless video I had absolutely no luck with, kept giving me some rap video [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img] They used to have Psychocandy by JAMC, but the one they have now is pretty good. I am more of a Stranded Saints fan, the early stuff was way more sonic.

Hope you liked the Eric`s Trip show;tell me about it in the open topic section when you get a chance.Eric`s Trip has some videos at launch so check that out.
I saw a Rein Sanction video this morning,I think this was the band our own fellow freakscene member dfkgurl used to manage and promote;they kinda sound like dinosaur so everyone here should check out that video.
Yo La Tengo`s video for `Sugarcube` is pretty funny;it`s YLT at rock and roll school,one of the teachers has Kiss makeup on!I like the part when Ira holds up a picture of Lou Reed and the teacher chucks something at him.Their video for `Tom Courtnay is good as well,it`s YLT opening for the reunited Beatles.
One of the videos I did`nt like too much was Cat Power`s`Cross Bone Style`;it looks like a Gap commercial.

Watched some more videos at launch,here`s some suggestions:
Flat Duo Jets-Radioactive Man-if you like the Cramps,check this out.
Superchunk-Hyper Enough,Mower,Fishing-good tunes and videos.
Action Time-Rock And Roll-I have a feeling that this band is second rate but I can`t get this song out of my head when I play it!
